HEIC Tools is designed to perform compatible conversions locally in your browser. When you select a HEIC or HEIF image for conversion, the conversion process does not intentionally send that selected image to our application server.
Converted files are generated for you to download to your own device. Closing or refreshing the page may remove temporary browser state associated with the conversion.
Important: browser extensions, operating-system features or other software on your device are outside HEIC Tools' control.

Technical data
Like most websites, the infrastructure used to deliver HEIC Tools may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps and security-related request data.
This information can be used to operate the site, diagnose errors, protect the service against abuse and understand basic site performance.

Third-party services
HEIC Tools may rely on third-party infrastructure for hosting, content delivery, security, analytics or similar operational services. Those providers may process limited technical information when you access the website.
Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms and applicable data-protection law.

Data retention
Because compatible image conversion is designed to happen in the browser, HEIC Tools does not need to retain your selected images on an application server for the conversion itself.
Technical logs or analytics information, when collected by hosting, security or analytics providers, may be retained according to their operational settings and retention periods.

Children's privacy
HEIC Tools is a general-purpose image utility and is not specifically directed at children. We do not intentionally ask users to provide personal information in order to use the basic conversion tools.

Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated as HEIC Tools changes, including when new analytics, advertising, account or other features are introduced. The date at the top of this page should reflect the latest published version.
